Updates from Woodchester Valley Vineyard on COVID-19

To all our customers,

We hope you are all keeping well and safe. Following confirmation that the next stage of lockdown has been lifted today (17^th May 2021) we are excited to re-open our tasting room and start our full summer tour schedule from Tuesday 18^th May. We’ll be updating this page regularly with the latest updates and timetables for our tours, accommodation and our shop. Please note that all guidance and timelines are subject to change – we will continue to update this page with any updates. Please bear with us while we respond to all your enquiries. 

Vineyard Tours, Tastings & Events

We have now started our regular summer schedule and our tours will return to being indoors. We will also be putting on some regular and one off events over the summer months. Our regular schedule can be found below and all tours can be booked here.

Please note that if you are booking a tour between May 17^th – June 21^st then your booking is subject to the Rule of Six (a maximum of six people from multiple households, or two households maximum if more than 6 people). From June 21^st we will revert to our usual maximum of 8 people per booking. If you want to make a booking for more than 8 people then please get in touch with our team to request a private tour.

Rescheduled Bookings from Covid-19 lockdowns

If you have a previous booking that you have opted to reschedule then please bear with us while we get in touch with everyone to rebook. However if you have a date and time in mind, then  please feel free to contact us on info@woodchestervalleyvineyard.co.uk with your previous booking details and we can get you rebooked.

Please note that if you have a booking that is affected by local or national restrictions relating to Covid-19, we will reschedule your booking free of charge or can offer a full refund.

Accommodation

Our accommodation has now re-opened and we are delighted to be welcoming guests back. We are getting extremely booked so please ensure you book well in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Please note that rules regarding multiple households bookings:

May 17^th – June 21^st : Rule of Six applies – bookings for a maximum of 6 people from multiple households, or a maximum of 2 households if the number exceeds 6.

From June 21^st we hope to be able to relax all restrictions around households mixing.

If you would like to make a booking for later in the year then this can be done either via our website here or please do get in touch on stay@woodchestervalleyvineyard.co.uk or 07808 650 883 if you have any queries. 

Please note that if you make a booking with us which is then affected by any local or national restrictions relating to Covid-19, then we are happy to reschedule your booking free of charge or provide a full refund.

If you currently have a booking with us that is affected by the new rules then we will be in touch with all of our guests. Please bear with us as we work through everyone.

Cellar Door Shop

Our Cellar Door is open between 10am – 6pm, Mondays – Saturdays. Please ensure you wear your face covering while in our shop and note a maximum of 2 households in our shop at any time. We are still operating our click & collect service on our website – please choose the option ‘pick up from store’ at the check-out and we will email you when your order is ready to collect.

Monday – Saturday 10am – 6pm

Sunday CLOSED

Deliveries

We are also offering free local delivery for 6+ bottles and free national delivery for all orders over £120 – this will automatically apply at the check-out. Please allow 3-5 working days for deliveries as couriers are still extremely busy.

Local delivery includes postcodes GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 & GL11. 

We hope to keep in touch with you all over the next few months and to see as many of you as possible. In the mean time please do follow us on social media if you can and keep up to date on our website, where we'll be providing regular updates and some light hearted virtual wine tastings for those of you wanting some wine advice! We'll also keep you updated on our vineyard and winery operations; some things don't stop!
